Lobsters sense of smell is extremely well developed and it will use this sense to locate it prey. Although the lobster does not see images, it can detect motion in dim light. It bright light, a lobster is thought to be blind. The short paid of antennae which a lobster has, allows it to perceive distant odours or chemical signals carried by the seawater.
Crabs have tiny hairs on their claws, as well as other parts op their body. These tiny hairs allow the crab to sense vibrations and water current. They can see well and their eyes are literally on stalks. They possess a fairly complicated nervous system and their senses of taste and smell are well developed.
