Sharks live in all waters all over the world. They appear in every ocean, and even in some rivers and lakes. Some sharks live near the surface, some live deep in the water, and others live on or near the ocean floor. Some sharks stay in the same area for their entire lives, while others travel many thousands of kilometers across oceans.
